DateParts
Breaks a date into its pieces (year, month, day, and day of the week) as four separate numbers you can use downstream. Useful whenever the calendar component matters more than the full date, like grouping by month or checking which weekday payments land on.

Example
A Close_Date of 2026-03-17 comes apart as Year 2026, Month 3, Day 17, and
DayOfWeek 2. The day of week runs 0 through 6 starting at Sunday, so 2 is a
Tuesday. Feed the Month output into a comparison to flag quarter-end closes, or
use Year to separate this year's bookings from last year's.
